A Single Thick Cake Card is one of the thinnest types of cake card being 1.7mm thick and comprising a greyboard inner covered on the top and sides with fern embossed aluminium foil, with a white paper lined base.
Sometimes referred to as a Cake Drum, this is the strongest type of Cake Board. It has a bonded fibre board inner which is covered on the top and sides with a fern textured, silver coloured foil and with white paper on the base.

Qualitative composition: Sugar, partially hydrogenated vegetable fat (palm kernel), whey powder, emulsifier (E-322, E-472C,E-492) and colouring (see table), flavour.

Shelf life 12 months from date of manufacture. Storage Keep in a cool, dry place.
Application: Suitable for the production of confectionery and biscuits. Melt in the microwave for 2-2.30 min, stirring every 40-60 sec. Or in a bain-marie. Apply on the piece and leave to cool.
